Machining solutions for electric mobility: Basic, Performance and Expert

Tool solutions for e-mobility are of particular importance in the automotive sector. For demanding components that will be produced in high quantities, MAPAL presents complete machining processes to be individually customised in hall 1, booth D10. The new classification in Basic, Performance and Expert solutions describes the different machining solutions depending on the quality requirements, number of units and investment.

The Performance Line is aimed at series production and focuses on machining with special tools. It is mainly used when new components are to be produced efficiently and economically on existing systems. For medium production quantities of stator housings on HSK-63 machines, MAPAL has designed a sample process for all requirements and framework conditions. The tools are geometrically adapted to the space available on these machines. In addition, they remain below the permissible tool weight of 8 kg and the maximum tilting moment of 10 Nm.

MAPAL not only offers customers the overall process designed to meet their requirements, but also takes over the retooling of the machines on request with the re.tooling service.
