Schmidt + Clemens receives award from the German Institute for Sustainability and Digitalization
The award is presented by the German Innovation Institute for Sustainability and Digitalization on the basis of a passed two-stage review process. "For us, the award is confirmation that we have sustainably positioned ourselves for the future as a top employer," said Sonja Fischer, Head of Human Resources S+C Group. "We are always looking for innovative solutions to further advance digitalization on the one hand and to make our employees fit for the future on the other."
S+C is the global market leader with tube systems for the petrochemical industry and has already received several awards for its training, employer attractiveness and innovative capacity. "Employees are the focus of everything we do; we know that we owe the success of our family-owned company to our employees," says Lars Niemczewski, Head of Corporate Communications. "However, we must not lose sight of the challenges of the future. Digitalization must continue to be driven forward in order to be able to offer modern and sustainable jobs in the future."
The Schmidt + Clemens Group employs around 1100 people worldwide, including around 650 in Germany. In addition to the group's headquarters in Lindlar in the Oberberg region, S+C also manufactures in Spain, the Czech Republic and Malaysia.
