By Bike
The eco-friendly jouney
Embedded in the green fields and apple orchards of the Filder plains, Messe Stuttgart is an excellent destination for excoursions by bike, pedelec or e-bike. Thanks to the excellent connection to the urban cycling network, you will reach our premises conveniently. Make use of the Cycle Tour Planner issued by the public transport network VVS to plan your journey.
At Messe Stuttgart, two routes cross the premises:
- In the East: Route 1 runs through the BOSCH Parking garage passing by the Entrance East and the administration building to the Flughafenstraße. Please follow the signage on-site.
- In the West: Route 2 runs unmarked along halls 9 and 10 (Paul Horn Halle) to the Entrance West.
Once arrived, you can safely park your vehicle in one of three parking areas at the East and West entrances. Charging stations with three EnBW charging poles can be used to recharge electric two-wheelers (e.g. e-bikes, pedelecs) within a very short time.
Charger cubes
In May 2020, eight more bicycle stands each with quick-charging connections for E-bikes and pedelecs were made available in the Entrances East and West. The so-called “charger cubes” are powered by solar panels and therefore free of charge for users. They are also equipped with lockers for helmets and backpacks.
Bikesharing by RegioRadStuttgart
If you want to rent a bike or pedelec you can do so from the bikesharing provider RegioRadStuttgart. At the trade fair entrance West, right by the tram station “Messe West”, 5 vehicles are available. Especially attractive for polygoCard holders: For every bike ride, 30 bonus minutes are granted, for every pedelec ride 15. More on RegioRadStuttgart.
