eltefa – the trade fair event in the South of Germany

Every two years companies present their innovations and demonstrate their solutions at eltefa, the world's leading trade fair for electrical engineering and electronics.

With an exhibition area of over 44,000 square meters in 2023, it electrifies, connects and enlightens visitors with its focus topics in four halls. With around 400 exhibitors and over 22,000 visitors, eltefa is a lively meeting place for the industry, including 50 percent of visitors in management positions.


The event is very well regarded: 90% of exhibitors recommend eltefa to others and 76% of visitors want to visit eltefa again. In an overview evaluation, eltefa receives a grade of 1.9. 

Since it was founded in 1981, eltefa has consistently offered the electronics industry in the economically strong south high-quality interactions and insights.

At the heart of one of Europe‘s strongest economic regions, the Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre sets international standards and provides ideal conditions for your successful participation at eltefa. You can reach Messe Stuttgart quickly and conveniently whether you travel by car, rail or plane. The infrastructure on the trade fair grounds is well thought out and clearly arranged. Each exhibition hall can be conveniently accessed by truck while the spacious conditions enable stands to be quickly set up and dismantled.
