Waste Disposal

Reuse – protects the environment and the economic cycle
- Waste islands in the public area for residual waste, recyclables and paper.
- Separate bottle collection containers in the Entrance East and West supplied by Trott-war e.V., an association for socially disadvantaged people, as part of the initiative "donate your deposit".
- Working party with internal contact persons from technical departments and external experts in order to formulate measures for improving waste separation and increasing the rate of recycling, and progressing the implementation of these measures.

Waste disposal for exhibiting companies
In order to make the separation and sorting of the individual waste fractions in the exhibition halls more intuitive for exhibiting companies during set-up and dismantling, a colour coding system was developed. Each colour represents a specific type of waste or recyclable material.
The respective colour is clearly visible on both the containers and the bags so that exhibitors can quickly identify the waste fraction.
The colours are divided into the following waste categories:
- PE film – yellow
- glass - green
- wood - brown
- paper/cardboard - blue
- residual waste - black
- polystyrene - magenta.
As an exhibitor, you will receive further information on the new colour coding system from your project team.
