Pumps for electrolysis and the hydrogen value chain

KNF offers airtight liquid and gas pumps with a maximum flow rate of up to 250 l/min and a maximum pressure of 16 bar g. The typical tasks for these pumps include transferring, circulating and compressing gases, as well as dosing and circulating liquid media, such as electrolytes, condensates or alkaline solutions.

Airtight pumps for fuel cells

Research and industry use these pumps with low power consumption to make the overall system as efficient as possible. Gas pumps for recirculation are a case in point. Changing flow rates required by the respective operating mode can be precisely modelled using brushless motors that can be fully parameterized. The recirculation pumps are suitable for hydrogen with its high moisture content and changing density depending on the system’s operating point.
