Messe Stuttgart is extending its portfolio in Iran by taking over ibex, the largest Iranian trade fair for bakery and confectionery technology. ibex has been in existence since 2007. The last event in November 2017 attracted 138 exhibitors from 16 countries. In its capacity as organiser of the event, Messe Stuttgart will be responsible for dealing with everything relating to exhibitors and implementing the 12th ibex from 22 - 25 November 2018 at Tehran International Permanent Fairground.
Messe Stuttgart: specialist for bakery and confectionery trade fairs
- Ibaktech Istanbul: leading trade fair in Turkey with an exhibition area of 50,000 square metres, 366 exhibitors from 18 countries (2016) and regional offshoots in Ankara and Izmir. Will be held for the 12th time in Istanbul in 2018.
- südback: the leading trade fair for the bakery trade in Germany has been staged in Stuttgart for 35 years. 691 exhibitors from 23 countries presented their products and services on an area of 55,000 square metres in 2017; 37,000 visitors flocked into the exhibition halls.

The partners of ibex are the largest Iranian industrial associations for the mill, bakery technology and bakery industries:

Over 1,400 companies are organised in the Federation of the Iranian Food Industry. ibex will therefore receive the full backing of the entire industry.
The institutional backbone is formed by KANON, the Research Centre for Bakery Technology, and the Committee for Agriculture, Water Management and the Food Industry of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce.
