From mere eating to enjoyment that appeals to all the senses: table culture makes all the difference. The finely composed look of a skilfully laid table is an experience in itself. That is why the "Table ART" table setting competition, which took place daily from 3 to 7 February at INTERGASTRA, traditionally attracts numerous fans of festive tables.
The tables were designed by teams from hotels and restaurants, as well as hotel and vocational schools throughout Germany and neighbouring countries. They prepared a table concept at the highest level on the theme of "The Restaurant 2030" and presented it to the jury in 2-minute pitches.
