Nice and elero – Sun Shading Solutions Nice: Strong joint presentation at R+T 2024
Nice and the German business unit elero – Sun Shading Solutions are jointly represented at the World's leading trade fair for roller shutters, doors/gates and sun shading systems at stand A11 – A12 in Hall 3. The solutions of both brands are united on an exhibition area of 600 square metres, putting the topics of connectivity and integration in the focus. We talked to Davide Campagnari - Head of the business unit Sun Shading Solutions Nice, Member of the Board of Nice and Managing Director of elero GmbH - and received an outlook on the trade fair presentation.
What can trade visitors expect at your stand?
Davide Campagnari: At the upcoming R+T, we will be acting as a corporate group for the first time and therefore have the great opportunity to tell a real 'Group Story'. People and the connections they make are particularly important to us. We at Nice and elero are particularly interested in connecting a wide range of devices to make the home even more connected, comfortable and sustainable. At our stand, we will make these values tangible for our visitors – and want to show them that we are the right partner for the future.
Which products will be in the spotlight?
Davide Campagnari: As the world's leading trade fair for roller shutters, gates and sun protection solutions, R+T attracts people from all over the world. And according to Nice, the keyword for the house of the future is "no borders": A place where everyday gestures are becoming increasingly intelligent thanks to an intuitive ecosystem that is easy to integrate and connect. Gates, heating, doors, sun protection solutions and other devices communicate with each other and can be conveniently controlled by voice command or via an app on the smartphone. In Stuttgart, for example, we are presenting Yubii Home Pro, a multifunctional gateway that can control up to 230 connected devices simultaneously, thus creating a smart, safe and sustainable home that communicates with its users.
Are products from your company nominated for the R+T Innovation Award 2024?
Davide Campagnari: Oh yes! The important synergy effects between our German business unit and our Italian parent company have already paid off, because both Nice and elero – Sun Shading Solutions Nice are nominated for the R+T Innovation Award, which honours future-oriented technical developments, exciting designs or particularly sustainable and energy-efficient products. As a group of companies, we are particularly proud of the fact that we were able to convince the jury with our solutions in the pre-selection process. After all, we want to be among the world leaders with our products. Nominees include a new range of radio transmitters, a new version of the Yubii app, a new door drive and a new drive solution for sun protection that can be used in a variety of ways and minimizes stock keeping. We are very excited about the award ceremony and look forward to numerous intensive discussions at our booth!
